LHH Recruitment Solutions is helping a rapidly growing, public company in the Brickell area of Miami, FL, recruit an Assistant Treasurer to build and scale a corporate treasury function onsite. Relocation support is provided as the team expands across North America.

In this high-visibility role, you will own investments, liquidity planning, and balance-sheet risk, partnering with executives to shape strategy and drive capital markets execution.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of progressive treasury or corporate finance experience.
• Experience with capital markets, liquidity planning, and risk management.
• Strong communication and executive presence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; professional credentials welcomed.

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, publicly traded industry leader at the forefront of high-performance data infrastructure and next-generation technology. Operating across North America, this high-growth company is expanding its finance team in its world-class Brickell (Miami) office.

Reporting directly to executive finance leadership, the Assistant Treasurer will serve as a key strategic partner. While day-to-day banking operations and reconciliations are fully handled by an established team, you will take full ownership of corporate investments, liquidity planning, balance-sheet risk management, and capital markets execution.

• Investment & Liquidity Strategy: Execute corporate investment policies, manage active and fluctuating cash flows, and conduct strategic scenario testing for substantial liquidity pools.
• Capital Markets & Financing: Support debt issuances, credit facility management, refinancing, and lender/rating agency interactions.
• Financial Risk Management: Oversee interest rate and FX risk management programs, including derivatives execution, hedging strategy, and effectiveness reporting.
• Systems & Optimization: Serve as the functional owner of Treasury Management Systems (TMS), driving process automation, ERP integrations, and enhanced data analytics.
• Strategic Advisory: Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and Tax to model balance-sheet scenarios and advise executive leadership.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 5–8+ years of progressive corporate treasury, capital markets, or corporate finance experience (public company exposure highly preferred).
• Hands-On Execution: Proven capability to actively manage substantial, rapidly changing cash balances in capital-intensive or high-growth sectors (e.g., tech, infrastructure, energy, logistics, telecom).
• Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, capital structure, debt instruments, and FX/interest rate derivatives.
• Communication & Presence: High level of executive presence, sound business judgment, and the credibility to present directly to Board members and external financial partners.
• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics required. CTP, CFA, or MBA is a strong plus.
• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Miami, FL for a predominantly in-office setup (~4+ days/week). Full relocation support is available for out-of-market talent.
