Qualifications

• Previous experience participating in or coaching track and field.
• Knowledge of at least one track and field event; other event knowledge is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and assist with other events outside primary area.
• Ability to work effectively with high school student-athletes.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and a team-first coaching mentality.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Linfield Christian School.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coaching, instruction, and athlete development in assigned track and field events.
• Demonstrate willingness to support multiple event groups when needed.
• Work collaboratively with head coach and staff to organize practices.
• Help student-athletes develop proper technique, conditioning, confidence, and competitive skills.
• Assist with meet preparation, event supervision, and competition-day responsibilities.
• Adapt to changing needs of the program throughout the season.
• Promote teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
• Support the Christian mission and values of Linfield Christian School.
