Position Overview:

Lincoln County School District #1 is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant High School Track Coach to lead and develop student-athletes in our track and field program. The ideal candidate will have experience working with middle school students and a strong understanding of track and field events. Key Responsibilities:

• Help plan and lead engaging practices for all track and field events (sprints, distance, relays, jumps, throws, etc.).
• Teach fundamental athletic skills with a focus on safety, development, and proper technique.
• Help manage team logistics including meet schedules, transportation coordination, and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.
• Supervise athletes at practices, meets, and during travel as needed.
• Foster a supportive and respectful team environment.
• Ensure compliance with school, league, and district policies.
