Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in municipal management, with at least three years at a department director level or above.
• Master's degree in public administration, business, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience as Town Manager or Assistant Town Manager preferred.
• Public sector management experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to implement town initiatives and strategic priorities.
• Conduct studies of operational problems and recommend changes in policies, procedures, or organizational structure.
• Prepare reports and correspondence for Town Manager and Town Council.
• Serve on budget and CIP coordination efforts to align with fiscal goals.
• Cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders including staff, council, and the public.
