Job summary

The Goddard School of Austell, GA is seeking an Assistant Toddler Teacher/Floater to support the Lead Teacher in delivering engaging age-appropriate lessons and in creating a safe, stimulating environment. You will help nurture young learners, support daily routines, and supervise activities while maintaining a caring, energetic presence.

Communicating with parents and adhering to health and safety guidelines are essential components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting.
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children.
• Works productively without supervision.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness.

• Support routine child care tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment.

Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities:
