About the role

Gersh's New York office is seeking an ambitious Assistant to support Gersh's newly appointed Head of Voice. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of related full-time (post-graduate) experience in the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate knows they want to be a Voiceover Agent, desires mentorship from a veteran in the field, and is excited to help build out this new division from the ground up. Prior experience at a talent agency or management company supporting voiceover talent is preferred. Experience within animation or gaming is a significant plus.

Duties

• Interface with high-profile clients and key players across the entertainment industry.
• Manage calls and schedule meetings.
• Handle calendar management, expense reports, and travel coordination.
• Generate and schedule auditions; coordinate with casting directors, managers, and publicists.
• Draft email correspondence, send submissions, and track incoming/outgoing materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong desire to pursue a career as a voiceover agent.
• Prior experience at a mainstream talent agency or management company supporting voiceover talent is preferred.
• Experience in animation or gaming is a big plus, but not mandatory.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Positive attitude, highly organized, and able to work under pressure.
• Willingness to commit for 1.5-2 years in the role.

Compensation

$20-22/hour plus full benefits.
