Bulkmatic Transport Company in Kansas City, KS is seeking a dependable Assistant Terminal Manager to support daily operations at the dry bulk trucking and rail transload terminal. The role balances office duties with hands-on yard and terminal tasks.

You will assist with coordinating trucking operations, support DOT-regulated drivers, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and help maintain efficient railyard practices. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to comprehend and comply with policies and comprehend instructions.
• Must have excellent computer and typing skills, specifically Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Must be able to communicate effectively with other employees and customers both verbally and in writing.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and be able to move vehicles from time to time.
• Must be motivated and able to work independently to complete assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Terminal Manager in the day to day operations of the facilities.
• Responsible for work schedules and workload assignments.
• Address customer related challenges.
• Oversee terminal employees and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Help to maintain employee safety, satisfaction and performance.
• Complete required data elements and analyze operations data for terminal efficiency.
• Represent the company in a professional manner.
