The salary range is $80,000 to $90,000 based on experience.
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Terminal Manager, the Assistant Terminal Manager aids in the day-to-day safe and successful operations of the terminal.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Environmental Health & Safety
- Supervises the daily operations of a Hydrochloric Acid truck and/or rail terminal including the safe and efficient loading/unloading and operation of railcars, tractors, or other container trailers transporting chemicals and supplies
- Oversees Environmental Health & Safety compliance for the terminal and all employees including federally (OSHA, DOT, FRA) and Reagent-mandated training and documentation
- Performs incident/accident investigations and documentation, taking appropriate action as necessary
Administrative/Staffing
- Assists with supervision of all terminal employees, including drivers
- Assists with disciplinary actions, including investigation and documentation of reported incidents
Customer Service
- Assists dispatch, as needed, in daily planning of load activities to ensure all customer needs are met
- Assists in scheduling of all terminal employees, including drivers, ensuring adequate staffing on weekdays/weekends to meet customer needs
- Responds to unscheduled customer needs or requests
Cost Management
- Ensures terminal assets are maintained to ensure safe and efficient terminal operations
- Reviews and approves all expenditures in compliance with Reagent policy
