Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1–3 years of coaching experience.
• CPR/First Aid/AED and concussion training required or within 3 months.
• Blood Borne Pathogen training per OSHA; yearly update.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with head coach on program direction; assume head coach duties in their absence.
• Assist planning and coaching practices and games; teach advanced skills and strategies.
• Counsel students on academics and sports; refer to support resources as needed.
• Monitor academic progress and mentor student-athletes; coordinate with deans.
• Build liaison with Health Services, Residential Education, and other departments.
• Assist in recruiting events and trips; evaluate prospective athletes.
