Job summary

Itawamba Community College Fulton Campus seeks an Assistant Coach for its tennis program, assisting the Head Coach with recruiting, instruction, supervision, and student-athlete development while supporting academics and conduct.

Responsibilities include planning practices, coaching during games, supervising equipment, assisting with film review and compliance with NJCAA and MACCC rules. This is a 10-month, full-time staff position with benefits per the employee handbook.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with successful experience coaching tennis.
• Master's degree preferred with minimum three years of successful tennis coaching experience at high school and/or collegiate level.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and supervise student-athletes with integrity and professionalism.
• Plan, organize, and conduct practices with quality instruction and conditioning.
• Assist with coaching responsibilities during practices and games.
• Monitor academic progress and ensure compliance with NJCAA and MACCC rules and regulations.
• Assist with fundraising activities for the College's athletic program.
