*Salary includes a 2.5% stipend*

The position's primary responsibility will be documenting highway assets for location, condition, and layout for entry into database (s). Position will assist Region with development of contract specifications and plans. Perform routine construction inspection to ensure projects are constructed according to plans and specifications while documenting contractor pay estimates. Will assist with drafting simple culvert designs. Assist Region Engineer in the generation of drainage basin characteristics using appropriate tools such as USGS stream stats and computer software.
To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience: Education, training, and/or experience in engineering, a technical field, or another related area demonstrating competency in reviewing technical plans, drafting diagrams and reports, collecting data, and analyzing datasets for trends.
