Elwyn is currently seeking an Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) Assistant Team Leader to serve as the team's clinical and administrative supervisor who also functions as a practicing clinician. The Assistant Team Leader, in conjunction with the team, is responsible for monitoring each client's clinical status and response to treatment and supervising staff delivery of clinical services to maintain a standard of service excellence and courteous, helpful, and respectful services to program clients.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Integrate the Prism Model for effective treatment of serious and persistent mental illness into everyday practice and intervention.
- Responsible for providing person-centered, strength-based, trauma-informed care.
- Ensure that clients receive effective, understandable, and respectful care that is provided in a manner compatible with the client's cultural beliefs and practices and preferred language.
- Direct day-to-day clinical operations of the ACCS team, including scheduling staff work hours to ensure appropriate coverage, leading the daily organizational staff meetings and Community Service Plan (tx. plan) meetings; continuously evaluating the status of clients and doing appropriate planning and coordination of treatment activities to ensure immediate attention to changing needs.
- Coordinate the admission process and treatment, rehabilitation, and support services of the program in coordination with the prescriber. Schedule the intake, develop and coordinate the Comprehensive Assessment and Community Service Plan; assign the most appropriate staff to the team; oversee the development of the Comprehensive Assessment and Community Service Plan.
- Lead and coordinate the client-centered Comprehensive Assessment of psychiatric history, mental status and diagnosis, physical and dental health, use of substances, education and employment, social development and functioning, activities of daily living, and family structure and relationships.
- Introduce the client and family to the team approach of Comprehensive Assessment and the Community Service Plan.
- Utilize evidence-based assessment tools that support matching a client's needs to their services.
- Work with the team to complete a Comprehensive Assessment within 30 days of admission as an engagement tool and to understand and respect the client's views of how mental illness impacts their life and how they want to be supported in their recovery process.
- In partnership with the client and team, develop the Community Service Plan within thirty days of completing the comprehensive assessment.
- Provide clinical supervision according to ELWYN ACCS policy, including field supervision.
- Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing (1:1 and as a team), onboarding, orientation, and performance supervision.
- Monitor the program budget and utilization of program contingency funds.
- Oversee EHR record-keeping compliance in accordance with ELWYN and ACCS standards.
- Maintain adherence to program policies and procedures in line with ACCS standards.
- Perform on-call duties for crisis intervention, staff supervision, and consultation.
- Participate in Department of Mental Health contract monitoring meetings.
- Review outcome measures with the team to evaluate community tenure and independence, submitting quarterly reports to DMH.
- Coordinate and monitor the activities of the treatment team, primarily responsible for developing, writing, implementing, evaluating, and revising the Community Service Plan in collaboration with the client and team; provide therapy utilizing evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT-P, CBT, DBT, CAMS, MI), symptom management, and support clients' families, advocating for clients' rights and preferences.
- Provide de-escalation techniques to clients in crisis, manage symptoms, and ensure safety.
- Monitor and maintain electronic card-ex and Daily Organization staff assignment schedules.
- Support clients with practical help, advocacy, coordination, problem-solving, training, and supervision to obtain daily necessities, find and maintain housing, learn ADLs, manage finances, access healthcare, and structure their time with community resources and activities.
Qualifications, Education And Experience
- Licensed in Massachusetts as an LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC; pathway to licensure may be considered.
- A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or clinical psychology.
- 2+ years' experience working with adults with mental health issues (preferred).
- 2+ years' leadership or team lead experience (preferred).
- Preference given to candidates meeting the cultural and linguistic needs of the area.
- Valid driver's license in state of residence, with at least two years of driving experience and an acceptable record.

- Complete ACCS Module Training within 21 days of hire.
