JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Computer Science and Software Engineering Department at Penn State Behrend invites applicants for a non-tenure-line faculty position starting in fall 2025.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in resident and online modes to support our programs, demonstrate excellence in teaching, and engage in research. A minimum of a master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is required. Rank is commensurate with experience. Duties include teaching, curricular development, assessment, and committee work. Areas of expertise may include theory, systems design, programming (Python, Java, C++, C), cybersecurity, cloud deployments, or game development. Industry experience is preferred but not required.
