JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Erie, The Behrend College (Penn State Behrend), invites applicants for an open rank tenure-track position in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) starting Fall 2025. The successful candidate should be committed to undergraduate education, developing a funded research program, and service to the university. Areas include, but are not limited to, microelectronics, battery technology, electric machines, communications, cyber-physical systems, embedded systems, computer architecture and networks, operating systems, and digital signal processing. A Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering or a closely related field is required. Industrial experience is preferred.

Research is integral, with industry partnerships at Knowledge Park and upcoming Center for Manufacturing Competitiveness. Onsite teaching is essential.
