The Community Impact Program and the Interdisciplinary Professional Studies (IPS) program at Boise State University invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor (non-tenure track) beginning January 2027. The position is focused on advancing Boise State University's mission to expand access to high-quality, applied learning opportunities across Idaho and is responsible for developing and teaching Community Impact Certificate courses; recruiting and advising Community Impact Certificate students; and collaborating with the Community Outreach and Partnerships Coordinator and other faculty and staff to promote and support the Community Impact Program. The role emphasizes community-engaged teaching, place-based learning, and applied instruction, particularly in rural and regional communities and ensures learning opportunities are accessible, relevant, and aligned with Boise State University programs. This is a full-time, 10-month renewable appointment with opportunities for advancement within Boise State's Teaching Faculty ranks.
