Miami University seeks an Assistant Teaching Professor/Assistant Lecturer for the Fall 2025 Semester. The role involves providing quality undergraduate teaching, advising students, and engaging in service to the profession. Assistant Teaching Professor/Assistant Lecturer (non-tenure-track) position starting for the Fall 2025 Semester. This will provide quality teaching at the undergraduate level; advise students; and provide service to the profession and University.
The Department of Accountancy currently has approximately 150 graduates per year, and consists of approximately 25 members included tenured/tenure-track faculty, teaching professors/lecturers, part-time instructors, and staff members. The Department values high-quality teaching and research. The Farmer School of Business has approximately 1,200 graduates per year. Required: Master’s degree in Accounting or closely related field by date of appointment for rank of Assistant Lecturer. Doctorate in Accounting or closely related field by date of appointment for rank of Assistant Teaching Professor.
Consideration may be given to candidates with demonstrated quality collegiate teaching experience and a proven ability to teach accounting content effectively. Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to engaging students in both foundational and advanced accounting concepts.
