The Department of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship (MIE) at NC State University’s Poole College of Management invites applications for a Professor of Practice position in People Management (Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Strategic Human Resource Management). This is a full-time, non-tenure-track position with an anticipated start date of August 2025. This position follows a 9-month appointment schedule.
Role & ResponsibilitiesThe Professor of Practice will:
This position is a .75-1.0 position and involves teaching primarily undergraduate students, although graduate MBA teaching over time is expected. Teach 3 – 4 courses/semester plus significant involvement with SHRM student organization. Significant involvement in embedding students in local, regional and national HR communities
