Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an assistant teacher to support K-12 learners in diverse educational settings within our in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will collaborate with teachers to implement SESI’s instructional models and CASE PBIS framework to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The role emphasizes working with students with special needs, running small groups, tracking progress, and communicating with parents.

Formación

• High school diploma is required; college experience or bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying developmental, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction and implement the SESI classroom rotation model.
• Collaborate with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Support and monitor student progress, communicate with families, and document growth.
• Assist with large group activities, grading, and providing accommodations as needed.
• Utilize de-escalation techniques to maintain safety and well‑being.
