Qualifications

• 1 year of classroom experience in a childcare setting
• Must love kids
• Flexible and able to adjust as needed; attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise children at all times
• Engage with children through play, conversation, learning activities, reading, music, and movement
• Help maintain a calm, positive, well-managed classroom
• Redirect challenging behaviors using positive guidance techniques
• Recognize overstimulation or disengagement and adjust accordingly
• Support transitions throughout the day and maintain consistent routines
• Arrive on time and ready to work; maintain professional communication with families and staff
