Early Learning Company is seeking an assistant teacher to support classroom curriculum and create a safe, nurturing learning environment. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to meet each child’s developmental needs while adhering to health and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). A supportive team and opportunities for growth are provided in a family-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) within designated timeframe after hire.
• Ability to actively engage with children and participate in activities.
• Must meet all state licensing requirements for assistant teachers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the classroom curriculum, adapting to meet each child’s needs.
• Maintain a safe and nurturing environment for play and learning.
• Support children’s development through structured activities and positive guidance.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to maintain routines and parent communication.
• Monitor and report children’s progress and concerns to the Lead Teacher.
• Participate in professional development to improve classroom effectiveness.
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
• Cultivate positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Uphold company standards and comply with state licensing requirements.
