Job summary

Harmony Science Academy - Lubbock is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support teachers and students in PK-8. You will assist with instructional activities, manage classroom behavior, and supervise students during meals and events.

The role emphasizes helping with data entry for IEP/ARD processes, and supporting differentiated instruction for diverse learners. Some experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Preference for 48 college hours.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Texas Educational Aide Certification preferred or ability to acquire it.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher(s) with student academic goals by working with small groups or an individual student.
• Assist teachers in enforcing classroom management and behavioral plans to create a learning-friendly environment.
• Supervise students during breakfast, recess, lunch, dismissal, and events.
• Assist with ARD/IEP paperwork and data entry for special education reports.
• Help plan, prepare, and implement differentiated instruction for individuals and groups.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
