Qualifications

• Associate degree or CDA preferred
• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or childcare setting
• Completion of state-required pre-service training
• Exceptional communication skills with children, families and colleagues
• Physical ability to actively engage with children, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Passion for early education and willingness to grow professionally

Responsibilities

• Curriculum and Instruction: implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans under Lead Teacher guidance
• Classroom Management: maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment
• Family Communication: foster partnerships with families through updates and goal-setting
• Health and Safety: ensure supervision and adherence to licensing standards
• Professional Development: participate in workshops and school-supported certifications
• Team Collaboration: support positive team dynamics and school initiatives
• Behavior Guidance: apply strategies to nurture social-emotional skills and address conflicts
