Bright Horizons in Oaks, PA is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support infants, toddlers and preschoolers in a caring classroom. Full-time and part-time opportunities include pursuing a CDA or college degree at no cost while you work, with hands-on activities, daily communication with families, and a focus on safety and growth.

As part of our team, you will help deliver engaging curriculum, follow state guidelines, and participate in required background checks and health and safety training.

Qualifications

• Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements as defined by the appropriate State agency, including reporting any suspected cases of child abuse or neglect to the agency and informing the director.
