Job summary

Discovery Point Lexington Oaks in Tennessee is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher with lesson planning and guiding children through activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.

You will help maintain a safe and healthy learning environment, follow the approved curriculum, and participate in training to meet state requirements. This role offers a rewarding path in child care and the chance to make a real community impact.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
• Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other training required.
• Must be able to meet state background check requirements.

Compensation: $10.75 - $14.75 per hour
