Job summary

Discovery Point Lexington Oaks is seeking a dedicated Childcare Assistant Teacher to support the lead teacher in planning lessons and guiding children, following the approved curriculum to foster growth across social, emotional, physical and intellectual development.

You will help maintain a safe, healthy learning environment and contribute to a nurturing team at our center. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, with duties that emphasize care, education, and fun for kids.

Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience
• Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum
• Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations
• Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other training required
• Must be able to meet all state requirements for Assistant Teachers
