The Learning Experience is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support the care, learning, and development of infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children. You’ll assist the Lead Teacher to maintain a safe, engaging classroom and support children throughout daily routines and activities in Smyrna, GA.

As part of a supportive team, you’ll help with lessons, transitions, and supervision, while following center policies and licensing requirements to ensure a positive, nurturing environment for families

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Childcare, daycare, preschool, nanny or teaching experience is required.

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Work collaboratively with Lead Teachers and center leadership
• Support communication with families about children's daily experiences
• Treat children and families with patience, respect, and professionalism
• Contribute to a supportive classroom and center team
• Follow childcare licensing, health, safety, and sanitation requirements
• Maintain supervision of children by sight and sound

Working with a Lead Teacher, you'll help maintain a safe, engaging classroom and support children throughout their daily routines and learning activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Childcare, daycare, preschool, nanny or teaching experience is must
• Early Childhood Education coursework or training preferred
• Dependable with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must meet applicable state licensing, background screening, health, and training requirements

Physical Requirements

This is an active childcare role that requires the ability to supervise children by sight and sound; stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit on the floor; participate in indoor and outdoor activities; and safely lift up to 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be available.
