Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of experience working with children or a CDA, 45 PD hours, or 9 ECE credits.
• Shift availability: opening, closing, or full-time.
• Strong organization, communication, and classroom-management skills.
• Nurturing, dependable, energetic approach to working with children.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to read/write English and use basic Microsoft Office tools.
• A plus: Associate degree in Child Development or coursework toward an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

Responsibilities

• Support a high-quality, age-appropriate classroom experience.
• Help implement engaging lesson plans and learning activities.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized classroom.
• Supervise children and support daily routines, transitions, and classroom ratios.
• Support each child's developmental needs and adjust activities as needed.
• Work closely with the Lead Teacher, families, and center leadership.
• Follow all health, safety, licensing, and classroom-ratio requirements.
• Step into Lead Teacher responsibilities when needed.
• Complete annual professional-development requirements (24 PD hours or 8 college credits per year).
