Job summary

Kiddie Academy of Lutz is hiring Assistant Teachers for all age groups to join a brand-new academy opening October 2026. You will support the Lead Teacher, help implement daily routines, and ensure a safe, engaging classroom aligned with Florida standards.

We seek caring, dependable educators with 1+ year of childcare experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, and a positive attitude. CDA credential is preferred. Training and licensing compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of childcare or preschool experience
• Florida DCF 45 Hour Training required or willingness to complete within required timeframe
• CDA credential preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and professionalism
• Must meet all state licensing requirements for employment in a childcare facility
• Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily classroom activities and supervision
• Support implementation of lesson plans and curriculum activities
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
