Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise preschool staff, including teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff, fostering a collaborative team environment focused on excellence in early childhood education.
  • Oversee curriculum development initiatives aligned with best practices in childhood development and early education standards, ensuring engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.
  • Manage school operations including budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to early childhood education and special education law.
  • Facilitate professional development sessions for staff to promote instructional leadership, instructional strategies, and ongoing educational growth.
  • Coordinate fundraising efforts and community engagement activities to support school programs and enhance resources for students.
  • Ensure adherence to educational policies, legal requirements, health and safety standards, and accreditation criteria while maintaining a welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.
  • Lead strategic planning initiatives to advance school goals, improve operational efficiency, and expand educational offerings.
Qualifications
  • CDA and Director Credentials REQUIRED
  • Extensive knowledge of curriculum development, instructional leadership in education, and educational compliance regulations a strong knowledge of PROCARES and CARES and Tadpoles.
  • Strong management skills with demonstrated success in supervising personnel and managing budgets at an executive level within educational institutions.
  • Excellent communication skills suitable for public speaking engagements with staff, families, community partners, and stakeholders.
  • Experience facilitating professional development programs for educators in school environments.
  • Background in managing school legal issues related to early childhood education policies and regulations.
