Job summary

Kiddie Academy of Lutz is preparing for our grand opening this October and we are seeking passionate, experienced Lead Teachers to join our founding team. We hire for Infant, Toddler, Twos, Preschool, and VPK classrooms.

Lead Teachers create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom while implementing developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with Florida licensing standards and Kiddie Academy curriculum expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of childcare or preschool teaching experience.
• Completion of Florida DCF 45 Hour Training.
• CDA credential required.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Must meet all state licensing requirements for employment in a childcare facility.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily classroom activities and instruction.
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Follow classroom schedules and academy policies.
• Maintain compliance with Florida childcare licensing standards.
• Support children’s developmental and educational growth.
• Participate in academy events, trainings, and professional development.
