Job summary

Learning Care Group in Alabama seeks energetic Assistant Teachers to join our child care team. You will support daily routines, create a safe, fun learning environment, and observe/plan activities that foster development. You’ll communicate with families and participate in ongoing training to grow professionally.

We value dependable, passionate individuals who meet state requirements and can work indoors or outdoors with children, in a long day care setting.

Qualifications

  • Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure daily care of every child.
  • Develop ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
  • Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily care routines and classroom management.
  • Observe and assess children's development and plan age-appropriate activities.
  • Communicate with families about children's progress and needs.
