Assistant Teachers at The Learning Experience

Role Responsibilities:
- Classroom Leadership: Partner closely with teachers to create a stimulating, welcoming environment where children can play, learn, and grow.
- Curriculum Implementation: Support teachers in implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, adapting your approach to the needs of Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children.
- Safety First: Prioritize a safe, nurturing environment where children are safeguarded and can thrive.
- Family Communication: Support teachers in updating parents on their child's progress and milestones through mobile apps and in-person discussions.
- Center Collaboration: Collaborate with staff and leadership to achieve retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
- Relationship Building: Foster warm relationships with families and colleagues to create an environment conducive to learning and play.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: High School Diploma/GED required; ECE coursework preferred. Must be at least 18 years old.
- Experience: Experience in childcare or a passion for early childhood education preferred.
- State Compliance: Meet state-specific guidelines, including immunizations, health and safety training, and other employment requirements.
- Caregiving Skills: Demonstrate judgment in risk identification, ensure children's safety, model social skills, and provide developmentally appropriate activities. Maintain professionalism, patience, and high levels of composure.
- Physical Resilience: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 40 pounds, reach, climb, and work outdoors in varying temperatures. Maintain alertness and energy to perform essential functions.
