Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced early childhood educator to design and supervise age-appropriate curriculum and manage classroom activities. You will supervise students, volunteers, and part-time assistants while maintaining a safe, healthy learning environment.

Responsibilities include collaborating on curriculum planning, coordinating parent/teacher conferences, supervising staff, and keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood or related field preferred.
• Two-year certification in early child development or CDA credential preferred.
• Experience in an early childhood education program preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with parents and staff.

• Assists the development and educational growth of the Center by utilizing and maintaining Center materials and resources and participating in community workshops.

Essential Functions

Education Requirement

Certifications

• Working knowledge of State Licensing regulations, SUTQ, and Center policies.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and provide direction for part-time assistant teachers, students, and volunteers.
• Flexibility and ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.

Experience

Experience in an early childhood education program, preferred.
