Overview:Job Description Summary:Designs, implements, and supervises age-appropriate curriculum, manages classroom activities and interactions, supervises students and volunteers, and maintains a safe and healthy environment.Job Description:Essential Functions:Collaborates in planning curriculum based upon knowledge of child development and observations to provide an optimal and safe environment for young children.Provides a welcoming environment for children and parents and collaborates in arranging and conducting parent/teacher conferences.Supervises and delegates classroom responsibilities to part-time assistant teachers, volunteers, and student teachers. Maintains cleanliness and order in the classroom.Provides supervision that ensures children are constantly attended by Center staff.
