Job summary

Child Development Schools is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support Lead Teachers in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that foster curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth for young learners.

You will help maintain a safe, clean, and inviting classroom, assist with daily reports, attendance, meals, transitions, and outdoor time, and build warm, ongoing communication with families.

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

What Your Day Looks Like

• Support the Lead Teacher in delivering age‑appropriate lessons and activities for the classroom
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom that meets licensing and ratio requirements
• Engage directly with children during activities, meals, transitions, and outdoor time
• Observe children and share developmental notes with the Lead Teacher
• Build relationships with families through warm, consistent daily communication
• Assist with classroom documentation including attendance and daily reports

Pay And Benefits

Pay: $11-$12.75 per hour, based on experience and education.
