You will support the Lead Teacher in creating engaging programs, manage the classroom and ensure a safe, stimulating environment for young learners. Qualifications

• High school diploma required; degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Experience with young children in licensed childcare or preschool.
• Demonstrates empathy and compassion for children.
• Able to work productively without supervision.
• Basic understanding of child development.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in caregiving tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with age-appropriate lesson plans.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Prepare classroom materials and maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children.
• Communicate with parents about progress and activities.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Assist with routine childcare tasks to foster a nurturing learning environment.

Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities
