Job summary

Beacon Hill Schools in Bogart, GA is seeking a caring Assistant Teacher to join our team. You will support the Lead Teacher, deliver daily lessons using the Frog Street curriculum, and help create a warm, engaging classroom where children feel valued.

Responsibilities include assisting with caregiving tasks, supervising play and routines, keeping the room organized and safe, and fostering positive relationships with students and families while following state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• CDA, TCC, or experience working toward an early childhood education credential.
• GED or High School Diploma required (preferred).
• At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare setting (or strong desire to learn).
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Pass all required background checks and meet DECAL requirements.
• A team-player attitude with a love for working with children.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and stay actively engaged throughout the day.
