Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring dedicated Assistant Teachers in Towson, MD to support daily care and early education. You will help maintain a welcoming, organized classroom and follow licensing standards to ensure high-quality care for every child.

There will be opportunities for observation, planning, and communication with families, along with ongoing training in childcare, preschool, and child development topics. Monday–Friday work weeks are typical.

Qualifications

• The ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool and child development topics.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay $15.45-$16.05 hourly, Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; based on Position, Education and Experience / any other compensation offered
• Immediate Health insurance (medical, dental and vision), paid time-off and 401K (plus company match) provided for full-time employees.
• Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification available to all employees
