Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Henderson, NV is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach to support fast-paced aquatic programs. You will help swimmers improve techniques across indoor and outdoor pools and collaborate with the Head Swim Team Coach to design and lead group workouts.

You will also assist in registering new participants and ensuring the aquatics facilities remain clean and orderly, contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of swim coaching experience.
• Member of ASCA.
• Member of USA Swimming.
• Successfully complete and pass Life Time Swim Instructor Certification.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally lift more than 20 lbs.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Years of Experience

• 1 year of swim coaching experience
• Member of ASCA
• Member of USA Swimming
• Successfully complete and pass Life Time Swim Instructor Certification
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally bend to lift more than 20lbs

Licenses / Certifications / Registrations

• Lifeguard certification to StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year, whichever is first). For Canada, Lifesaving Society Lifeguard certification and Standard FA with CPR C.
• Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
• Must complete all job specific requirements with Life Time Education.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher
