Job summary

The YMCA in Fairless Hills, PA is seeking an Assistant Swim Coach to join our part-time program. You will help coach youth swimmers, reinforce safety, and foster teamwork under our experienced coaching staff.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have competitive swimming experience, and have worked with children aged 7–18. You will serve as a positive role model and can obtain lifesaving certifications (First Aid/CPR/AED) with training provided. YMCA membership is included.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Participated in competitive Swimming as a student-athlete.
• Worked with children ranging in ages 7-18, as either a coach or educator.
• Can be a positive role model for our swimmers.
• Obtain lifesaving certifications (First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen) - training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ability to relate to young student-athletes in the sport of swimming.
• Have a knowledge of competitive swimming.
• Ability to listen to student-athletes and be an encouraging role model.
