Job summary

Jewish Alliance Of Greater Rhode Island in Providence, RI is seeking an Assistant Swim Coach to support the Head Coach in developing swimmers of all levels and to foster a positive team environment.

The part-time position includes planning practices, teaching stroke technique, assisting at meets, promoting sportsmanship, and ensuring safety and compliance with pool policies. Evening practices and weekend meets are expected.

Qualifications

• Competitive swimming or coaching experience.
• Knowledge of stroke mechanics and training principles.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Passion for working with youth athletes.
• CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard certifications preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Availability for evening practices, weekend meets, and team events.

Position Summary
