Job summary

Gold’s Aquatics Camas is seeking dependable, energetic Swim Instructors to join our team. We teach swimmers of all ages and abilities, with training provided even if you have no prior teaching experience.

Hours include weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings. You’ll collaborate with a supportive aquatics team and help kids become safer and more confident swimmers.

Qualifications

• No teaching experience required; training provided.
• Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, or other aquatics certifications are a plus.
• Part-time role with afternoon/evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Teach safe, engaging swim lessons using the Gold’s Aquatics curriculum
• Help swimmers build skills, confidence, and independence in the water
• Give clear instruction, encouragement, and feedback
• Maintain active supervision and follow all pool safety standards
• Communicate with parents about their swimmer’s progress
• Help keep the lesson area organized and ready for classes
• Work as part of a supportive aquatics team

$17.13 - $22.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:

Swim lessons take place on weekday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings.

Our instructors teach swimmers of all ages and abilities, from young children who are just getting comfortable in the water to more advanced swimmers working on stroke technique. You don’t need any teaching experience to apply. We provide training and support to help you become a confident, effective instructor.

• Is comfortable in the water and has basic swimming skills
• Is willing to learn and receive feedback
• Can work afternoon/evening and/or weekend shifts

Previous swim instruction experience is helpful, but not required. Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, or other aquatics certifications are a plus.
