Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital invites applications for the Assistant Supervisor role in Environmental Services.

The position focuses on supervising and coordinating all Environmental Services activities, training staff when the Director is unavailable, and ensuring cleaning standards, inventory, QA inspections, and equipment maintenance are carried out while upholding the hospital’s mission and values. The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of housekeeping

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 3 years of pervious housekeeping experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all Environmental Services activities.
• Train personnel in the absence of the Assistant Director of Environmental Services.
• Demonstrate proper cleaning techniques, manage inventory, and conduct quality assurance inspections.
• Maintain equipment and promote teamwork across the healthcare team.
• Perform duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Position Summary:

The Assistant Supervisor supervises and coordinates all activities within Environmental Services. In the absence of the Assistant Director of Environmental Services, the Assistant Supervisor will train personnel, demonstrates proper cleaning techniques, complete inventory requirements, complete quality assurance inspections, and maintenance of equipment. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: 3 years of pervious housekeeping experience
