Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanliness and help prevent hospital infections. As part of the Environmental Services Department, you will support patient care by keeping patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas spotless.

• Handle trash/linen/bio removal for own area; lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Description The Opportunity

Saint Luke’s is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to be responsible for the cleanliness of our facility. As a member of the Environmental Services Department, you will be instrumental in fighting against hospital infection. Shift Details

• Full time position
• Five day work week
• Work week – Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends (Every other weekend)

Job Responsibilities

• Accountable for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices.
• Removing trash, wiping surfaces, and any other tasks related to cleaning.
• Each housekeeper is responsible for their own trash/linen/bio removal and must be able to lift 50lbs.

We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and have a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, flexible, able to work without any guidance, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, can be on your feet all day, and a team player.
