What it takes to succeed:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Current Texas EMT-B, AEMT, or EMT-P certification or ability to obtain Texas reciprocity within 30 days
• Current AHA (or ARC) BLS certification
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a SEA driver’s license
• Ability to walk briskly for a quarter mile while carrying 20 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, and work for extended periods in extreme weather
• Proficiency in basic computer and Windows software
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Preferred: 1 year of theme park health services experience
• Preferred: 2 years of clinical or EMS experience

What you will do:

As an Assistant Supervisor for Health Services, you will provide frontline leadership for the SeaWorld EMT team, ensuring all first aid facilities are properly staffed, stocked, and meet quality standards. You will foster a positive environment to maximize ambassador performance and guest service, while ensuring compliance with all regulations, medical directions, and company policies.

Additional responsibilities:

• Provide excellent guest service
• Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 30 lbs
• Engage in extensive walking, standing, and climbing as needed
• Maintain composure in high-stress situations
• Work flexible hours, including shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
• Influence team members to achieve objectives
• Manage ambassador performance, training, and feedback
• Ensure emergency facilities are properly stocked and maintained
• Perform secondary duties as assigned
