Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing, industrial or related field.
• Assembly experience in manufacturing, industrial or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and measurement tools.
• High School or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manages the team, schedules, and deadlines.
• Provides material list for each project.
• Provides cost outs for each project.
• Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintains documentation of each job, from start to finish.
• Resolves issues or conflicts with Plant Supervisor and/or HR.
• Approves or denies vacation, sick and unpaid leave for employees.
• Writes and presents annual performance reviews.
• Provides continual feedback to employees in department regarding their work performance.
• Leads by example.

About the job: The Assistant Supervisor supports the Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the department by helping manage team performance, schedules, project execution, and employee development.
