Job summary

Ryan Companies seeks an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field activities, manage subcontractors, and monitor CPM schedules to keep projects on time and on budget.

Responsibilities include safety policy implementation, budget awareness, blueprint interpretation, and on-site leadership to ensure quality control and efficient, independent work delivery.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and ongoing testing.
  • Completion of union-required training or equivalent.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and stay calm under pressure.
  • Valid documentation and ability to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to recognize when to ask for help when task exceeds skills.

  • Enforce site specific Project Safety Manual.
  • Engage in Quality Control practices.

Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for the coordination of the work of all Ryan employees, subcontractors and project management on the jobsite for completion on time and on budget.

Compensation

The base pay range is $85,000 - $108,000 per year. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
