Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in an integrated mill environment, recovery boiler or related area preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with Production Management System and CMMS required; PI Vision and JDE proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations for Recovery Boiler area; improve safety and production.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards are met.
• Drive Lean initiatives (LSS) to reduce costs.
• Review production reports and act to meet internal customer needs.
• Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and AFPA/BLRBAC.
• Develop and implement process improvements to uptime and efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments to optimize mill production.
• Provide after-hours managerial support as needed.
• Manage outage inspection scopes and repairs.
• Oversee environmental compliance and emissions reduction.
• Manage annual operating and maintenance budgets.
• Maintain asset management systems and capital projects.
