Job summary

Butler-Cohen Design + Build seeks an Assistant Superintendent to maintain a strong on-site presence, enforce safety culture, and support field supervision across the project.

You will coordinate subcontractors, assist with look-ahead planning and master scheduling, and help document daily huddles, RFIs, and submittals while learning your way through QA/QC processes on a commercial site in Texas.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction management experience.
• BA/BS in a construction-related field; plus 1+ year CM experience.
• Preferred experience on ground-up or heavy renovation projects.
• Experience with QA/QC methods, inspections, and enforcing specs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with site logistics planning and maintain a clean, safe job site.
• Assist in creating and updating the project look-ahead schedule and master schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and field staff to ensure alignment with the plan.
• Assist in daily huddles, preconstruction meetings, and RFIs.
• Support QA/QC by verifying submittals and materials conformity.
