TRL Systems, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join a project team responsible for high-density residential and mixed-use construction.

You will report to the Project Superintendent and General Superintendent and supervise MCRT punch carpenters and laborers, coordinating inspections and ensuring quality and safety on site. You will help create schedules, monitor progress, and communicate risks and issues with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the multi-family construction industry is required.
• Knowledge of Procore and Textura is a plus; strong MS Project, Word and Excel skills are expected.

Responsabilités

• Supervises and directs the efforts of MCRT Punch Carpenters and Laborers.
• Develops and maintains relationships with building officials and inspectors and assists in scheduling inspections and testing.
• Identifies project risks including safety/loss control, subcontractor issues, site conditions and logistics, scheduling, change orders, and document conflicts.
• Supervises and monitors work of assigned subcontractors and MCRT punch carpenters and laborers; notifies Project Superintendent of non-performing subcontractors.
• Prepares punch lists and ensures completion before inspections and product acceptance.
• Inspects subcontractor work to ensure it meets obligations and Company quality standards.
• Assists in creating and updating project schedules and ensures tasks are finished accordingly.
• Participates in safety and subcontractor meetings and helps maintain meeting minutes.
• Monitors timely ordering, delivery and storage of materials to meet project schedule; ensures site safety and compliance with policies.
• Reviews plans to identify mistakes and inconsistencies and provides recommendations to resolve issues.
• Maintains documentation and paperwork; coordinates with third party consultants and inspectors for inspections.
